“In the Shadows of the Himalayas: How People Live in Nepal”
Produced by Tamara Plush, Smudge Productions
Imagine living in a country where people walk everywhere . . . where what you eat everyday is grown right outside your front door . . . where your gods have many forms and many colourful festivals . . . Imagine living in a country surrounded by mountains including the tallest mountain in the world.
In Seattle, a fifth-grade classroom at Hamilton International Middle School wants to learn more about Nepal. They have a sister school in the Kathmandu Valley and are sending art supplies and cameras to the kids in grades one through six.
They can't wait to learn more about the country and look at the photos from their sister school students showing how people live in Nepal. Join them in their classroom project journey of discovery.
